Ok So i Have a Geforce Nivdia 6600 In My Comp now ( the Comp is about 7 Years Old) If i Put this card in there http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130339 And the Comp Dies Will i be Fucked out of 130$?

While that new card will certainly kick some major ass. You should first be warned that you MUST HAVE a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot available for it. Your current slot might only be a 2x/4x slot. Check first, or you'll never get the performance out of it.

If the card does not fit, most stores will take it back. I don't usually shop newegg, I go for tigerdirect. But, same shit, different name. Check the return policy before buying to be sure it's returnable.

Really though, this is a new style card, so even if your machine epically dies, this card will probably fit on your next machine. As most of us are using this slot type.

well im rocking a optiplex Gx270 I belive um So would i bE able to use this card?

There are also some other things you need to take into consideration. If your power supply doesn't have the right connections, you can't use it. If you case can't fit the card, you can't use it. If the mother board doesn't have a PCI Express 2.0, you can't use it. Also if it's not a x16 PCI Express 2.0 slot then the card will not be able to work at it's full potentially. If you send me a detailed report of the computer parts, including the case, I can tell you whether the card will work or not. If this is out dated, I wasted a post...
